How to register myself as administrator within PCSACC/400?

Answer

Signon as user QSECOFR or QPCS, prompt command ADDPCSOWN with command key F4 and specify your user profile in parameter USR.

User QSECOFR and QPCS are owner and administrator of PCSACC/400 by progam.

You can now sign on with your user profile and call command CHGPCS.

Your name will be underscored and you are now administrator of PCSACC/400. Only administrators can be displayed by pressing function key F5 and enter 1 in field Only display PCSACC/400 administrator.

Administrator have user class = 2 and can perform all maintenance tasks, depending on user profile class *SECOFR or *PGMR.

Controller have user class = 3 *CONTR and, depending on user class, may only display data.

The following user classes exist:

0 = *USER (Normal end user)

1 = *GROUP (User group)

2 = *ADMIN (Administrator)

3 = *CONTR (Controller)

5 = *ANONY (Anoymous user)

6 = *CROSS (Crossover user)

7 = *TEMPL (Customer templates)

9 = *PCSACC (PCSACC/400 templates)

Only *USER, *ADMIN and *CONTR have a user profile, all others do not have a user profile.

Users QPCS, QSECOFR, record type *PCSACC and active groups cannot be deleted.
