Why have only some users been registered automatically?

Answer

Only users are being displayed, that use either SQL/ODBC, DDM, TCP/IP FTP/TFTP/REXEC (RUNRMTCMD via IP), IFS (Netserver-accesses), remote commands (iSeries Navigator, Operations Navigator/400) or data queues.

Starting with OS/400 release V5R1 programs

QGY/QGYSETG
QSYS/QSYRTUFI
QSYS/QSYRTVFI

are being called daily from all TCP/IP TELNET-users (incl. 5250/TELNET) .

Beginning with V3R2M01 from february, 14th. 2003 of PCSACC/400 these program calls are generally released for user QDEFAULT as *PUBLIC-CALL. A new field to ignore this CALL's was added to the command records only for user QDEFAULT. New TCP/IP TELNET-users (incl. 5250/TELNET) calling this programs are no longer added automatically to PCSACC/400. Your data are changed automatically at installation time.
